Little Lucy Mini sesson. :)

Look at this sweet little face!! 

She just is one happy girl laughing and smiling all the way. :)

She had the prettiest blue eyes and chubby little cheeks I could have squeezed all day long!

She is turning 1 so happy birthday to a happy girl!!

Fun by the lake.

I had such a great time with Kelly and Matt and their little crew.  

Their kids were so fun and happy.

I love kids that can joke around with you the second you meet them.

That's exactly how the boys were.

Happy and joking around just like brothers should be. 

I love getting brothers to mess around with each other and catching them in their

games of silliness.  

There is nothing in the world like little boys.  

There is also nothing as sweet as a little girl.

And lil' miss precious cheeks and bright eyes isn't any different. 

Something about a baby girl's smile melts the heart. 

Thanks guys for letting me capture this time in your lives for you!

Sweet baby Nolan

This is my sweet new nephew. 

His Daddy was a college basketball player. 

They were expecting to have a girl so when we got the phone call

that they had a boy I was excited!! 

Mostly because I love little boys!

Also because I wanted to do a newborn shoot with a basketball.

This was the perfect person to do it with.  

:)

He was such a light sleeper, 

so it was really hard to get his sleepy head shots. :)  

But the one below is enough to melt anyone's heart and its 

just what I had in mind.

I love these little munchkin heads.

I had so much fun shooting these!! I've been wanting to do the hot air balloon

in my target basket for months now.  We finally got the time right.

I miss Greensboro.

It is a photographers dream with all the gardens they have there. 

I use to take my babies here all the time and picnic when I lived there.

The little fairies just make my heart smile.

She had so much hair that was sooooo cute!!!

I'm not really sure why, but I can't call her Jane.  I always call her "baby Jane".  Jane is so funny already.  She has her own schedule for how she want things to be.  Once you are on board with her though she is just about the most precious thing you have ever seen.   Her little smile will melt your heart.  I'm so happy for you guys Jeff and Andrea!  Can't wait for all the fun ahead, but mostly just snuggle her up every second of the day right now while she is still so tiny and precious!

Heidi had done something similar to this in a newborn shoot

and I have been thinking about it non stop and wanting to do something

similar ever since!

Then my other friend posted an adorable picture of a headband

on etsy she wanted and I loved it so much and was reminded of this idea just in time for Cora's 6 month portraits. 

LUCKY DAY!!

So I ran to Michael's and made this cute headband and 

I must say she is the cutest baby ever!

It was so good to see my old friends the Allen's.  Her kids are so adorable and have gotten soooo big.  They are such a fun family and they're kids are so happy!
